Xue Zhang received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Electronica Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China, in 2015. She is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree at State Key Laboratory of New Ceramics and Fine Processing, School of Materials Science and Engineering, Tsinghua University (THU), Beijing, China and expected to get Ph.D. degree in 2020.
She worked as a research assistant in UESTC under Associate Prof. Baihai Li from 2012 to 2015 and her research focused on the study of water-splitting photocatalysts by first-principles calculations. Since 2015, she is working on her Ph.D. under Prof. Ce-Wen Nan (Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences). Her research presently focuses on the study of solid-state electrolytes used in all-solid-state lithium batteries and aims to improve the ionic conductivity of the electrolytes and address the interface issue between the electrolytes and electrodes.
